On the waters of Lake of Egypt at Marion, Illinois on March 17-18th, 2017, Crappie USA Inc., “America’s Premier National Crappie Fishing Organization”, will hold the first of four $10,000 Super Events. Anglers will be fishing for a 7-fish limit of crappie each day, which could net them a piece of the $10,000.00 in cash and prizes along with the opportunity to advance to the Cabela’s Crappie USA Classic, the most prestigious event in crappie fishing today. A pre-tournament seminar will be held on Thursday the 16th at The Pavilion on 1602 Sioux Drive in Marion. For those not fishing the event, we encourage you to come out to this meeting and meet the top crappie anglers in the region.

The 2017 Midstate Classic will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at the Ridley Sports Complex in Columbia, TN. The event promises to be the biggest and best! It features the University of Tennessee Volunteers squaring off against the Auburn University Tigers. This double-header will open with Columbia State against Trevecca Nazarene University at 3:00pm, followed by the University of Tennessee against Auburn University at 6:00pm. A player autograph session will be held immediately following each game. All guests are invited to attend.

On April 22nd, 2017, come attend the Oak Island Lighthouse Run and Phlock After-Run Celebration at Middleton Park Extension, Oak Island, NC. Races start at 8am. The Oak Island Lighthouse 1 Mile Fun Run, 5k, 10k & Half Marathon courses showcase the best scenery on the North Carolina Coast. On Sat May 6 – Sun May 7, 2017 in southern IL, a recreational soccer league tournament will take place with over 100 teams competing at the Marion Soccer Complex. On Jun 14 – Jun 18, 2017, the annual Jolly Mon King Classic will be held at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center, in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. The event brings fishermen and their families together for food, fun and fishing. It offers a complimentary dinner for everyone and medallions for all Junior anglers participating in the event. The Junior Jolly Mon will be held on June 16, 2017. The Jolly Mon offers a variety of prizes from gift cards to top cash prizes.

On Thu Jul 6 – Sun Jul 9, 2017 in Susquehanna River Valley, PA, the Sunbury Celebration features Youth Baseball Tournaments, Craft and Food Vendors, Games, Dunk Tank, Petting Zoo, and Pony Rides. The day ends with the area’s best fireworks show too! On Thursday, July 6th, it is Family Fun Night on the Oppenheimer Pleasure Grounds featuring door prizes, games, and even free hot dogs while supplies last. On Friday, July 7th, come to the Free Splash Hop at the Sunbury Community Pool, with music and swimming and free hot dogs while supplies last. And on Saturday, July 8th, it is the Celebration day at the David L.
