The Radcliff/Fort Knox Community offers visitors “a golden opportunity” to visit attractions within the North Central Kentucky region. Fort Knox is home to the U.S. Bullion Depository, which stores 100 billion dollars worth of gold bullion.
Noted for its historic past, the area offers many attractions including the world-famous Patton Museum, Armor Memorial Park and Saunders Springs Nature Preserve. The Schmidt Museum of Coca Cola Memorabilia and Swope’s Cars of Yesteryear Museum are nearby in Elizabethtown. Regional attractions include Lincoln’s Birthplace in Hodgenville, historic Churchill Downs in Louisville and My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown.
The Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center showcases local talent and provides comedy, drama and musical entertainment.
The historic town of West Point offers Tioga Falls, Bridges to the Past, Fort Duffield and Music Ranch USA.
The Radcliff-Fort Knox area has something for everyone – no matter what your interests are.
