Put-in-Bay, Ohio is a village located on South Bass Island in Put-in-Bay Township, Ottawa County. The village is a popular summer resort and recreational destination for Ohioans and others around the country. A ferry connects Put-in-Bay island vacationers to other Lake Erie islands including Catawba Island and Kelley’s Island as well as Port Clinton and Sandusky, Ohio.
An $8 ferry ride from the mainland takes you to Put-in-Bay, where there’s plenty of activities to choose. Rent a golf cart and ride around the island for the day or rent jet skis, jet boats, power boats and kayaks for a fun day in the water surrounding the island.
