Create a Memory in Dubois County!

Dubois County hosts family-fun festivals for people of all ages! Plan a weekend getaway that will create memories to remember for a lifetime.

Feel the rhythm and enjoy the sounds of both traditional and Latin jazz near Huntingburg’s Historic 4th Street on April 20. Partake in wine and craft beer sampling as you relax and enjoy live jazz performances by three well-known regional bands. Slammer Jazz from Indianapolis, Indiana is led by Jim VanSlambrook, a multi-talented musician on the vibes, tenor sax, trumpet and flute along with his daughter, Heidi on vocals. Poco Loco from Cincinnati, Ohio is a fun, upbeat, danceable band that plays a mix of Afro-Cuban Jazz, Brazilian Jazz and Jazz originals. The headlining act is the Wade Baker Jazz Collaboration from Dayton, Ohio. A Jasper native, Wade and his band will play new music, plus standard jazz repertoire with more modern arrangements of the tunes developed by the group.

The JCAC Chalk Walk Arts Festival is a family-friendly event intended to inspire and stimulate the creativity and artistic ability in everyone! Enjoy the celebration of arts with hands-on activities, demonstrations, performances, displays and an Arts Mart all around the square in Downtown Jasper on May 4.

Beginning in May, come aboard the Spirit of Jasper Train! Ride in style on three newly renovated, climate-controlled cars complete with comfortable seating, a cash bar and restrooms. Each car maintains its unique design and ambiance making this train ride one to remember! Excursions include Ride & Dine Trips and a French Lick Express.
