Discover history and be entertained with family oriented fun! Techniques are used at Ron Hinkle Glass that have been handed down for centuries from master craftsmen from around the world. Hand crafted glass comes to life through the use of a variety of tools in the hands of master craftsman Ron Hinkle. Sand, lime and soda ash are combined as the main ingredients to be melted in a 2,400 degree Fahrenheit furnace. After the creation of each piece, the glass must be slowly cooled to room temperature. At which point, the item is ground, polished and becomes a finished work of art.

Ron Hinkle has been able to fulfill his dream of sculpting and blowing beautiful pieces of art glass to share with the world. He has developed a passion for glass that has transcended a mere desire to earn a living. His studio and gallery are located on his family farm in Buckhannon, WV.
