Destination Franklin, Pennsylvania – Always Eventful!

Franklin’s Light Up Night, Saturday, November 22nd, provides a magical evening of fun and entertainment. This year’s theme is “Christmas in Toyland.” Explore Franklin’s charming downtown shops from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to find those perfect one-of-a-kind gifts. Restaurants will be serving their best fare, along with local wines and micro-brews. Enjoy beautifully decorated trees at the landmark Barrow-Civic Theatre. The Electric Lights Parade begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the always amazing Pyrotecnico fireworks set to the sounds of Christmas! Feel the wonder during the lighting of the City’s holiday tree, the pinnacle of Franklin’s annual Light Up Night event. Be sure to visit with Santa and experience the spirit of Christmas in Downtown Franklin.

You won’t want to miss “A Christmas Walk in the Park.” During the month of December, enjoy sparkling lights among a grove of decorated evergreen trees. Get into the holiday spirit with outdoor seating, a variety of local food options, and even more decorations – all in historic Downtown Franklin!

The Franklin Fine Arts Council invites you to Franklin On Ice being held Saturday, February 7, 2026. Shake away the winter blahs as beautiful Fountain Park is transformed into an outdoor ice sculpture gallery. Enjoy live ice carving during the day, with breathtaking illuminations in the evening. Take advantage of everything Downtown Franklin has to offer! Franklin Retail Association will be hosting a variety of indoor sidewalk sales. And you won’t want to miss the 2026 Nature Art Showcase and Sale from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Barrow-Civic lobby.
