No New York vacation would be complete without a Murder Mystery Dinner and overnight stay. The mystery dinner, overnight stay and breakfast is included in the package. The mysteries are scheduled every month when a request is received and there are 6-10 available players. If just one couple is interested they are put on a list to join another group when needed. Come solve the Crime! Whodunit? Was it you?

A Murder Mystery includes a themed dinner, overnight stay and a full delicious breakfast. After you make your reservations for the murder mystery dinner, you will be mailed a description of your character and costume suggestions, this is an interactive play. Your costume can be simple or elaborate. Dressing for the dinner and wearing the appropriate costume gets you into the spirit of the mystery. Guests are suspects in the murder that has been committed. Your help is needed to find out whodunit! Can you prove your innocence? Someone may be lying, and the guilty suspect may be you!

You will be given a guide book to follow, questions to ask and clues to give. A guide is present to ensure the mystery runs smoothly. There are many different mysteries available for you to help solve. For example the Mystery may take place at a Las Vegas wedding chapel, Rockies Mountain beer festival, Mexican fiesta, in NYC at an Italian restaurant, or a backyard BBQ set in the 50’s theme.

The Mystery begins at 6:00 pm with hors’derves served, introductions, and setting the scene. The evening ends approx 3-4 hours later when the mystery is solved and dessert is served. The four course meal is based on the theme of the mystery.

Room assignments can be determined by the draw of the room keys or they will be assigned by the B &B in the order the reservations are received. When you schedule a mystery evening you need to gather 6 to 10 of your family or friends to solve the crime with you. The Gallets House Bed & Breakfast is a restored turn of the century Victorian home. It has been restored with all the modern amenities, including private baths, two rooms also have whirlpool tubs, wireless internet, TV, VCR , coffee pot, iron, hair dryer and A/C. An outdoor hot tub is also available. There is a downstairs lounge with TV, DVD player and movies, fireplace, refreshments and microwave popcorn to pop.
