Prestonsburg attracts Kentucky tourism with its abundance of activities.
Prestonsburg offers Broadway musicals at Jenny Wiley Theatre, Kentucky Opry in the Mountain Arts Center along with national headliners, festivals, juried crafts, horse shows, boating and other water recreational activities, hiking, elk watching adventures, golfing, historical and civil war sites. Rainier Racing Museum exhibits the trophies, pictures and relics collected through the racing history of Harry Rainier Family including three Daytona 500 victories.
