Welcome to Mexico Beach, Florida !
Our little beach town is a serene and tranquil hideaway from busy schedules and the pressures of everyday life. Since 1946, this quiet beach community has enjoyed long days of fishing, beachcombing and relaxation followed by spectacular sunsets, great memories and building lasting traditions on our white sand beaches for years.
The City of Mexico Beach stretches for three miles along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico – that’s three long miles of sugar sand beaches and clear blue water. You won’t find traffic lights, chain restaurants or busy shopping complexes here. Instead, you’ll discover unique boutiques, fantastic seafood in one-of-a-kind eateries, friendly local folks and uncrowded beaches!
The waters of the Gulf of Mexico are clean and calm along Mexico Beach, and swimming, fishing and boating are popular activities here. The recently renovated and extended City Pier is a great place to catch the big one or enjoy a leisurely walk over the water, and lounging on the sand as the sun sets is the perfect way to bid farewell to the day. Just sit back and enjoy the satisfaction that only a day at the beach can bring.
There’s no doubt that this place is special. Come discover our outstanding little beach community for yourself. Create memories and traditions of your own. Visit Mexico Beach often, makes the most of every visit, and welcome to one of Florida’s last great seaside communities.
