One of the more popular amenities that guests expect to enjoy during their stay is a swimming pool, especially indoor ones. Hotel swimming pools can be outdoors or indoors, heated or not. In the winter months especially, guests love a heated indoor pool and even better, a hot tub or whirlpool too. Some vacationers will even book a nice hotel room for a weekend in the wintertime just so their family can enjoy a nice heated indoor hotel swimming pool too, as a chance of pace. A pool is a certain enjoyment or luxury. If you have children with you during your lodging stay, a pool is a nice amenity. It helps improve a child’s swimming ability, and allows them to let go of their energy, and for just plain family fun and enjoyment too!

If the hotel says there are changing areas at/near the hotel swimming pool, ask about lockers as well. They may require a coin or just a room key. Other lodging facilities offer somewhere to change at the pool, but no lockers, so either you then leave your stuff on a lounger / chair where you can see it, or you change in your room instead. Will they provide towels by the pool or should you bring your own from your room? If the hotel tells you to change in your room, there typically will be a bathrobe and towels in the room. There may even be a bar at the swimming pool or near the pool area too. Others may have a full service restaurant or some nicer lodging sites may offer poolside food or drink service. These features differ from place to place too. When you book your next family vacation, be sure to ask your lodging facility if they have a hotel swimming pool too and then go enjoy!
