Riverton, WV: Seneca Caverns is located in Riverton WV, a part of the scenic Germany Valley area. Seneca Caverns first opened its doors in 1928 making it the first show cave in West Virginia. The first tours were done by lantern and it was not until 1930 that lights were installed. Seneca offers a variety of guided tours most leaving every 30 minutes.
