  1. Bring your medications with you. If you get to your North Carolina lodging and realize you’ve forgotten them, you can often get an emergency prescription called in to a pharmacy so you’re not without your meds.
  2. Don’t turn fun family vacations into a time to drink to excess. Alcohol lowers inhibitions, so be careful!
